The highlights of our week include:
Taking a trip to the Phuket Aquarium, where we visited Kaya's BFF Mr Grouper
Exploring our new neighborhood
Visiting our friend Nicky and her daughter JJ ( Kaya's real BFF)
Getting a PS3 'for Billy' ( technically it's for him but I may have secretly wanted it for myself....)
I started Photography Concentrate's Extremely Essential Camera Skills that I found out about through Katie and Kuby and finally I am beginning to understand my camera. I finished the ebook part and videos in one sitting and I cannot tell you how dang good this course is ( haha I said dang, good old 90s did a real number to my vocabulary...). Despite my close friend being a professional photographer and attempting to explain how a camera works to me, I got lost on the vocabulary. Extremely essential camera skills makes it very easy to understand and the videos help immensely. I just have a kit lens and it's bad friends, really bad. So I am hoping to eventually upgrade. Still, I am playing around with my camera and my newly found skills which, granted are limited, but helping me enjoy and understand photography much more.
A few other things I wanted to mention: I'm going to be a regular contributor in two magazines! My first two articles on Happiness and Spirit will be featured in the next issue of Wild Sister, a very visually appealing and soul uplifting mag for women. I was also contacted by the editor of The Parent Tribe and will be writing for them monthly; my first contribution will be an interview about our family. The Parent Tribe is a one of a kind FREE magazine for natural families as well as work from home Moms/Dads and includes yoga poses, healthy recipes, interviews, and lots of other goodies. Check out the recent edition here.
